The airline financial losses after aviation accident: a case study for UIA
The paper title and all section and sub-section headings, including the summary and keywords headings, must be bold. Third-order headings, table and figure captions, and author affiliations must be italicized and not bold. The article covers the issue of the airplane crash of the Ukrainian airline UIA near Tehran in January 2020. A review of the scientific literature was conducted, which showed a limited number of studies on financial costs and compensation in the case of the downing of a passenger airliner. The authors identified the main causes of air accidents of passenger airliners associated with the state of Ukraine, among which a significant share is crew error. In addition, the data on aviation disasters with human casualties were summarized, and were determined the conditions for paying compensation to airlines and relatives of the victims.
